Overview:

Belli, saddened by the loss, decides to end his story with Paula. Meanwhile Tonnara, who has been monitoring the movements at the police station, intercepts Borsello and offers him a "deal". Giovanna, very close to giving birth, discusses future prospects with Manrico. Tonnara is about to strike the final blow and Scalise is practically unprotected at the police station.
